The contact owns a 2006 Toyota Lexus IS350. The contact received notification of NHTSA recall campaign id number: 05V565000 (vehicle speed control: Accelerator pedal) in April 2010. He stated the closest authorized dealer that could make repairs to the vehicle was over 300 miles from his residence. The manufacturer was contacted and they advised they would contact him to determine if there was an alternative. As of June 2010, the manufacturer had not responded. There were no failures at this time. Updated 7/20/10 updated 07/23/10
