Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

The first rear window trim fell off two years ago and now the other one fell off. And yes, they literally disappear w/out any provocation. I, of course, told Lexus that I thought it should be covered as it is defective. Wouldn't you know that you can't just replace the trim, you have to purchase an entire window -- now that is environmentally correct.

Since I'm out of warrenty they kindly said they would cover parts. Well, that does me alot of good since labor is well over $500.

When you purchase a "luxery" car this simply should not happen. AND if it does, Lexus should be held accountable.

I'd like to know how we can get this issue resolved under a class action AND get Lexus to cover it.
