Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2004 Lincoln Ls. In may of 2009, the contact's vehicle swerved off the road and struck a culvert. The entire front end was damaged; however, the air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed and the contact was injured. He feels that this is a serious safety issue. The speed was unknown. The failure mileage was 32,165.

The contact owns a 2004 Lincoln Ls. While driving approximately 25 mph, the contact swerved to miss an animal and struck a telephone pole on the front center of the vehicle. The driver side air bag deployed, but the passenger side air bag did not. There were no deaths or injuries. The vehicle was destroyed. The dealer was notified. The current and failure mileages were 33,517.
