Saw the complaint from Navila in Canada. Having the same problem of sloshing in the gas tank area especially when the tank is full.

Tech heard it loud and clear and said he had never heard anything like it before and didn't know how to write it up. All at dealership agree that I should not have to hear the gas sloshing.

Lincoln dealership said Ford Helpline told them to drive a similar vehicle to see if the sound was evident. Ford has no record of this problem, so no solution was offered. They said they could hear it as well but not as pronounced as there was not as much gas in the tank.

Waiting for their top notch tech to take a look at it next week. Sounds like I'm going to get a run around and they will want me to accept this noise as normal for the vehicle. No other car that I have owned have I heard gas sloshing in the tank! The tech and the service manager agree that I should not have to hear this as well.

Update from Jan 12, 2016: After 2.5 months of going round and round with the dealership, service department, the Lincoln Field Service Rep and the Regional Customer Service Rep- they have deemed this problem as "a normal characteristic of the vehicle"! I swapped it out for a 2016 and it made the same noise to a lesser degree. Wanted to turn in the vehicle for a full refund, but that request was ignored twice. Bottom line, Lincoln will not fix it as they do not see it as a problem. Had to let it go as it was making me loose sleep. Thinking about putting out a Youtube video with the problem and calling on all MKC owners to complain. Maybe if enough voices are heard? At least I got the regional customer service director to give me the top of the line extended bumper to bumper warranty for free! Anybody want to buy a Lincoln MKC?

I reported an issue to the dealership service about my Lincoln MKC when the gas tank is full or 3/4 there is a sloshing sound of liquid especially when I accelerate and brake. It is definitley more noticeable when the tank is fuller. The service foreman agreed with the noise, tested other MKC's on the lot and found the same noise. They have apparently placed a global concern to Customer help, but I think this will get me no where. I contacted customer service and they basically said that there is no fix and that a lot more complaints have to come through to even think of a recall. So I spend a lot of money on a "luxury" car and I have to deal with an obvious engineering problem. What does it take for a company like Ford/Lincoln to investigate and confirm the issue and fix their mistakes. A 2 month old car should not sound like huge waves are hitting my it or that I getting bumped every time I brake.

Any MKC owners out there please check this and place a formal complaint so they can fix their mistakes instead ignoring them.
