Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

New auto delivered 8/11/08 has spent 21 days in dealers repair shop to date. Defects that became know are stuck accelerator pedal (Ford & dealer claim "it never happened") deluxe audio system that worked some of the time (dealer replaced) cracked steering column ( dealer repaired) not knowing what will happen next, requested that Ford take back the car, which company refused. Car has design defects which affect the safety of the driver & passengers. Front headrests and middle window pillars make side visibility difficult. The daytime glare from the information window on the dash makes it impossible to read which can be dangerous in a warning system failure situation.
