The contact owns a 2011 Lincoln Mkx. While parking the vehicle, the low coolant level warning light illuminated and the vehicle started to smoke. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who stated that the module, which controlled the cooling system, failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 48,000.
