Navigator LL V8

These running board brackets are necessary to the functionality of the vehicle! The brackets rusted completely through and create a danger to anyone entering or exiting the vehicle. I am unable to locate a replacement bracket, and the entire running board ONE SIDE is $2000, not acceptable Lincoln!!

This is a well known issue and should be a recall/replacement by Lincoln!

Navigator 8 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 86,000 miles

The deployable running boards on this vehicle is a very serious safety problem due to the support structure on the left and right side rusting out, thus causing the boards to deploy when driving and to be unstable if stepped on. This is absolutely a serious safety hazard and needs to be recalled by the Ford Motor Company and repaired or replaced, at no expense to the owners.

Navigator Ultimate 5.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 114,000 miles

This is a very common problem for vehicles with the power running boards and is a safety issue. Lincoln should sell the undercarriage as a solution and not require purchasing the whole running boards assembly for $2400 per side.
