Plastic intake manifold on 1998 Lincoln Town car with Ford 4.6 liter V-8 engine cracked causing loss of coolant. The car has 102,000 miles on it. So far, repair costs have come to $1250. The leak also damaged the alternator which will cost an additional $400 to replace. The manifold was replaced at my cost by a local repair shop. The part was not saved.
