After paying for getting the rear rotors and pads replaced it is now something I find out hasn't happened to just me with low mileage since searching the internet. Does it mean I should be looking for another issue as to why the rear pads and rotors could possibly wear out before the fronts let alone at just 30,000 miles? I have yet to find a solution as to why it has happened. I would prefer to find out before another set gets worn out much faster then what they should. I drive very few miles and very rarely do I need to put the brakes on suddenly so there is no reason for it. Please figure out this issue and give me suggestions.

As soon as the car started to make noises coming from the brakes, I went to the dealer for a check up. To what they approached me very casually and told me the brakes have worn out and needed to be replace. To which I was astonished because the car has only surpassed 20000km. They didn't even have into account how new the car still is, so no guarantee will cover, not even apologies were there. At the end they just blame me as I could have run the car with the emergency brake on. Which to this day I have never use.

Terrible experiences, somewhat it made me regret my purchase for a while.

only 35000 miles and my rear rotor gone, need replacement and possible caliper. Last full circle they didn't dealer shop mention anything. Probably waiting to come out of the warranty. There is a service bulletin from 2014 regarding rear brake issues on 2013 Mazda CX5

I am a bit handy, took apart and replaced rear pads and rotors.. cost me roughly $300.00 in parts.

Update from Apr 5, 2015: at such a low mileage mazda warranty should of covered my expenses..i saved them labour costs.. the vehicle is warrantied for 4 years (took xtra year)
