Front sub-frame rusted causing lower suspension / control arm to come apart, leaving front wheel to be unstable. This happened while driving, almost causing accident do to instability in staring system. I see that this is a common problem with this model, however for some reason my VIN doesn't show the recall. Is this something that the company is planning to address, or am a stuck with the problem? pictures included.

Steering locked while driving the car in the city at around 35-40 mpg. It would slightly pull the right though very hard. It unlocks if the ignition is turned off and turned back again. The issue repeated 10 days after the first incident followed by a loud thud which appeared to coming from the car as the road was clean. Steering was unlocked once restarted.

The contact owns a 2006 Mazda Mazda6. The contact stated that when letting go of the steering wheel, the vehicle would pull abnormally hard to the right. The contact stated that the front driver and passenger side control arms were replaced as well as an adjustement to the sub-frame. Both front strut heads were replaced and an alignment was performed but to no avail. The contact was concerned because the vehicle pulled extremely hard to the right and the contact did not want to lose control of the vehicle. There were no further repairs. The failure mileage was 58,000 and the current was 99,951.
