I purchased a new Mazda 6 in July 2014. In mid December a small noise started being noticeable when going up speed bumps, until this squeaking noise became permanent, specially when braking. It is like the noise you get from worn out shock absorbers in real old cars. My previous cars were all Hondas, very good, very reliable. When the new Mazda 6 came out I thought the model was very handsome and I read almost every review there was on the car and they all said it was a very good vehicle, so I bought one. Imagine my surprise when only 4,500 kms. later it starts making a noise like an old worn out wreck. I think this is inadmissible from a company that is trying to place itself on the market against strong competitors.

I took the car to the dealer where I bought it (Derco Autos Tabancura) and after two attempts gave up for I received no adequate solution, the noise just keeps coming back. I have tried to contact higher Mazda authorities and have found impossible to place my complaint.

I am an M.D., a surgeon actually, and I am in awe that a serious company like Mazda is supposedly trying to be, would release a product so defective. I can acquire another car, there is no problem about that, it´s just that I wanted a sporty family sedan and the Model 6 fit my requirements. I guess it just does´t work very well, no matter how pretty it is.

A shame.
