Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Mazdaspeed3 transmission/engine mount. These have been failing on a quite a few 2007 Mazdaspeed3 cars. My dealer would not even check mine upon request. Many dealers either claim to know nothing about it, or are not giving the proper service on this. Mazda Canada/usa is also claiming ignorant on this. This is a known issue as Mazda had flown engineers from Japan to the us to review a couple of cases, as reported by another member. This is a major safety issue as this mount holds the engine in the car, and can potentially cause injury or worse in my opinion. Btw, I work as an engineer. I had to check my bolt myself and found it to be loose.

The front drivers side engine mount on my Mazdaspeed3 has the potential to back out and cause the engine to drop on the drivers side axle causing significant structural damage and a life threatening situation when it happens while driving.
