I hit a deer on my way home from work at about 45-55 mph (at impact). The damage was to the front driver side area. The air bag did not deploy, however, the light was illuminated as if the airbag did deploy and there was the smell of gunpowder at the time of the accident. There is no reason why the airbag should not have deployed!! That make me really worried that if another accident should occur, will the airbag actually work??
