Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2010 Mercedes Benz C300. While the contact was driving approximately 30 mph, when the accelerator pedal was applied there was a delayed response. A loud noise sounded and the front end of the vehicle collapsed. The air bags did not deploy but the warning indicator illuminated. The contact pulled over to the side of the road with caution and the vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. The contact was waiting a response from the technician regarding the cause of failure. The failure mileage was 6,109.
