2004 Mercedes Benz E320. Consumer states problem with vehicle gas tank the consumer stated after refueling the vehicle, he smelled a strong odor of gas in the days that followed. The vehicle was taken to an authorized service center where an inspection revealed the fumes were coming from a hole in the gas tank, which was a well- known manufacturing defect.
