The problem with this breakdown is the terrible state of parts acquistion with Mercedes. It has taken 9 days so far and no part has arrived at the dealership. Dealer tells me that for the last year and a half they have had a terrible problem getting Mercedes parts. Many parts have to come from Germany because they are not stocked in this country even though the ML series is built in Alabama. Dealership tells me they don't have enough loaner cars for the number of customers waiting for parts for their vehicles.
