TL- the contact owns a 2006 Mercedes Benz ML350. The contact stated that the parking brake handle became detached from the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000. Kmj
: improperly engineered emergency brake handle that: When a 1-2 mm plastic piece on the handle housing the cable shears, will then allow the brake cable to disconnect inside of the dash board and leave the owner stranded. If we had been more isolated this could be a life threatening problem.
