I am very disappointed with Mercedes Benz lack of responsibility as it relates to the safety concerns on my 2006 ML 350. I purchased the car in late 2008 as a certified preowned and have maintained it diligently. This car is a huge liability and my children were in the car when it stalled out on a busy street and also when it recently refused to accelerate in a major highway (270 in Columbus)

The balance gear shift was the first issue which from what I understand Mercedes has known about this issue since 2007 (prior to me purchasing the car) and now, after spending over $3,000 repairs, less than 30 days later, my car stalls out and won't accelerate on a highway. Now they want $1500 to fix, and this issue is also something that I had looked at when it was under warranty back in 2011- they told me it was my gas petal sticking under the rug- never did the proper diagnostics and now I have a major issue.

See below on the notes from Mercedes on this issue from back in 2011.

Please help as this car is our third car and we have 2 other Mercedes (hence the low miles) My kids could have been killed......
