The contact owns a 2007 Mercedes Benz S550. While driving approximately 65 mph, an unknown warning light illuminated and unilluminated. In addition, the vehicle stalled and was able to restart, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the alternator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000.
