#AIRBAGS... ON MAY14TH 2022...I [XXX] had a wreck, and the Airbags didn't deploy, at a speed of 50mph...Which caused very serious personal injuries. As, a concussion, whiplash, Sprained thorax spine and bottom of my back, strained ligament in my knee, rib contusion, fractured tooth!! The contact owns a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. After merging to the side of the road and exiting the vehicle, a trailer sideswipped the entire driver's side of the contact's vehicle. The driver of the trailer attempted to make a turn prior to crashing into the vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed and there were no injuries. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified due to it being out of business. The failure mileage was 125,000.

The contact owns a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. The contact stated that while sitting in an intersection with the brakes depressed, the vehicle abnormally accelerated and lightly crashed into another vehicle. The air bags then deployed abnormally, several moments after the crash occurred. The contact was injured by the air bag and sustained lacerations to his left arm. A police report was filed. The vehicle was inspected by a dealer and they advised that the air bags should not have deployed without a forceful impact. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and they offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000. Updated 03/29/11 updated 12/28/2011
