Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

My car a Mercury grand-marquis(2004), on October 14,2004 almost caused to my wife and myself a my own home, the car failed in transmission to go rear, instead went forward into my backyard, crashed against a tree and went into a lake in my property. As a result the car was towed to alan Ford in bloomfield hills, mi for rapaired with damages over $140.I made the a complain by phone to the NHTSA and promissed a leter peply which nevr happened and folow up calls it was informed to me that there was never a record of my call.
