Received an ABS trouble code. Mechanic checked and said it was the ABS tone wheel on the outter left front cv joint. Mechanic said this was a common problem with front tone wheels on the Mercury Mariners and should be recalled by Ford.

While driving on the highway my brakes wasn't working. After getting it checked out, I found there was a rip in the front brake hose. This caused all of my brake fluid to leak out which left me with no brakes. When your brake hose is ripped or leaking, you receive no warning that there is a problem. This puts you and others at risk of having a bad car crash. It appears the same problem is occuring with the rear brake hose. This vehice should be recalled because these brake hose can give out at anytime without warning and could be a hugh tradegy for everyone involved.
