A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

My vehicle was undergoing its 90,000 mile service and the technician noted that the rear two tires were cracked at the tread-to-tire interface. The next day, I took the car to the tire shop that installed the tires for an evaluation. They determined that all four tires had this safety condition and were replaced on a prorated cost. It was as if the tire tread could become separated from the shell of the tire at any time. The tires are yokohama avid touring S model. Had only 20,200 miles on them and only 2.67 years old. This could have been a disaster at high speed for my son or daughter had this not been noticed. The tires have not been abused and were rotated at 10,000 mile intervals. I was expecting these tires to last 60,000 miles.
