exploding glass

I parked my SUV in the parking lot at work. less than 30 minutes later the window was broken. There was no evidence that anything hit the window, glass was thrown as far as 5 ft from my car. Company staff cleaned up the glass from the parking lot and off the two cars parked beside me. I am just thankful no one walking by was hit by the exploding glass.
