the hinge is rusted away and the window opens by itself

would like the rear window hatch was able to be fixed by tightening the screws and not replacing it

Rear window recalls were made in 2002 and 2003 models--the same thing happened in our 2004 and the dealer is claiming that we have to pay to replace the hinge since there's no recall for our model year. This is in spite of the fact that TSB's indicate problems with shutting the rear window. Hmm... long, nagging phone calls are my specialty.
