The hem of the hood is rusting through. This is a garage kept vehicle that is hand washed once a week.
When getting a quote for this repair, we were told that the only fix is a new hood for around $1500. The service manager said that everyone of the vehicles' hoods rust.
Ford's response again is that it is outside of the warranty criteria and that there are not bulletins on this repair. But if I keep my receipts and enough people complain, then maybe I will be eligible for a refund.
This has to stop. Ford knows there's a problem but will do nothing to fix it.
