1999 Mercury Sable, original equipment, tire size P205/65R15, while pulling into driveway, the right front tire felt spongy. Dot number P5ur4423900, consumer states there was a split about 1 inch from the rim and 1/4 of an inch from the circumference of the tire, consumer also states that the other 3 tires are dry rotted in the same area and some are beginning to show signs of splitting, consumer is requesting reimbursement.

Tire developed a 3 inch long bubble in sidewall, dealer would not replace, told to take it to general tire. General claimed I ran over something (which I had not) and would not replace under warranty. I replaced tire at my expense for safety reasons.( dot number: Tire size: P205/65/R1 )
