The contact owns a 2000 Mercury Sable. The current and failure mileage was 102,000. The contact drove the vehicle to the dealer for the coil spring recall repair, and the dealer stated that the shocks needed to be replaced. The dealer advised the contact of the fee to remove and install the shocks since she didn't want them repaired. The ocontact stated the shock failure was related to the coil spring recall. Two weeks prior the shocks passed the inspection.
