Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

On July 20, 2016 when we questioned repair costs covered by our 2011 MINImaintenance program upgrade agreement, the sharpe collection MINIdealership in grand rapids Michigan was unable to provide a paper copy of the agreement. Nor did they subsequently email it to us as requested. In addition, we requested the same documentation on the MINIusa website at and it was not forthcoming after several weeks. It is our understanding that the dealership by law must keep all paperwork of this nature available to clients for 7 years.

I am filing a complaint that the MINIcooper countrymen which has been in production for over 3 years has not yet been rated for crashes or rollovers. I find this to be unacceptable how are consumers to make an educated decision when there is no data available on the vehicles safety.
