The contact owns a 2006 Mitsubishi Raider. The contact stated that NHTSA campaign number: 14V795000 (electrical system) exceeded a reasonable amount of time for repair. The dealer stated that the part needed for repair was not available. The manufacturer was contacted and stated a solution had not yet been implemented to deter this failure. Also, the contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. The vehicle was repaired on two separate occasions. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician diagnosed that the clutch was defective and replaced it twice. The failure mileage was 157,000.
