I started with changing the fuel filter, then power resister, then upper cam timing chain, then plugs, coil, distributor and then the idle air control valve, the egr seems to be working and checked for vacuum leaks by shooting starting fluid all over. The timing is set at 20 deg. little more or less don't solve problem. Car will start and will idle with a little miss then turn on the AC and get a rough idle, put it gear and it wants to quit running, I keep reading about vacuum leaks- throttle body and manifold. Any help with solutions is welcomed.
Update from Aug 21, 2012: replaced plenum and intake gasket to fix problem, replaced distributor cap and button for small miss. running great now after over $900.00 in parts alone.
