Had the check engine light come on. The computer read it as a misfire on cylinder 4. Replaced spark plugs and wires. Was thinking about changing the Oxygen sensor or the injector but since I'm not the only one with this problem I will ask my mechanic about this issue.

Same problem everyone has mentioned. Check engine comes on and idle is very rough. Happened to be getting a tire at a NTB dealership and they checked the code and told me it was cylinder 4 misfiring. I changed the plugs and wires and thought it was fixed. Two weeks later the check engine light came back on and been on ever since. Sounds Like I'll be check the manifold to see if its leaking.

I have been trying to find out what was wrong with my car for the past year. Engine light goes on and off, shaking when idling, etc. No one seemed to be able to diagnose the problem. I spent a lot of $$ trying to find the problem. Today I get to this website and i end up diagnosing my own problem. Indeed, it is the intake manifold gasket. I would be very interested in joining anyone who is able to file a class action lawsuit against Nissan for this problem. It is clearly a defect in the car and they own it. They should pay for the repairs. I am able to have the car fixed and the mechanic is working with me on the price to fix it. I just feel better knowing what the problem is. What a relief.
