Paint sealer started peeling off in spots on the hood, then it made it's way down and around the car like a spreading bacteria. Paint is now faded in those spots as well. Must have been a bad batch of paint because every 2001 Nissan Altima I see now peeling like mine or has been repainted already. I know the car is 17 years old already, but I see newer (in the last 6 years) models doing the same thing.

This is the worst paint job I have seen on any car. The paint chips off completely leaving nasty looking spots all over the front bumper and hood. I'm not sure what kind of paint they use at Nissan but it's horrible quality!
