Vehicle will drive normally. Without any warnings the vehicle will quickly slow down to 10 - 15 mph. The engine remains running at approx. 3K rpms but with very few, if any, power transferred to the transmission. The check engine light does not illuminate and if the vehicle is shut off and re-started; the condition clears.
