Bracket on the left side of driver's seat cracked in half. Seat now rocks when car is in motion. While driving, this is very distracting/scary and can cause an accident. The repair is estimated at $1,000 and the dealer claims not under warranty. This is a structural defect as evidenced by the number of complaints for the same thing. This should be a recall item and/ or Nissan should warranty the repair..

The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the seat frame was replaced; however, the crack is still visible. There were no prior warnings. The current and failure mileages were 62000.
My Nissan Murano drivers seat frame broke. The seat flopped around and I almost lost control of the car. I was driving on a two lane very curve road at the time. The seat dropped to the left and the seat back went backward.
