The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that the fuel gauge was defective as it would indicate that the fuel tank was empty after he filled it with fuel. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealership where the contact was informed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000. The current mileage was approximately 108,000.
