Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

I have noticed on several occasions that my car does not pick up my key fob. I can be trying to enter my truck and it wont pick it up. I have to take it out my bag and click the open button. I have been in my car and trying to start it and it wont start. It says key not detected. However, the key is around my neck. It wont start. I have to hit the button several times...on and get the truck to pick up the key. Very odd. The vehicle was not on...stationary. The last time this happened was Sunday.

I don't know how to explain other than saying it seems car is not grounded correctly. When I use atms while sitting in car I get a painful shock. Tried several locations to see if that was the problem. Now open door rather than reach through door window. Really a strong shock. The car is running bit either in drive with brakes on or park.
