I having the same problem with this car since day 1 brand new until now wasting money trying to keep the car running. I even I reported the car to BBB. still having the same problem
The car occasionally, I thought it was just on the really hot days, although has been doing it on rainy cool days lately. It has been progressively getting worse. It wouldn't start and had problems starting and when it does start runs roughly and don't trust going anywhere. Lately it has been every time but before it was weeks in between episodes. I put a new gas cap on it thinking that might solve the problem and it fixed it for a few short trips but now back to doing the same thing. It is forty miles to a auto parts store for them to do the diagnostic scan and while it is running roughly don't want to take it. When it isn't running roughly the light is off. So at this point I am unsure of what I am going to do.
I have had this problem from the new car . Nothing was done under warranty. After warranty,had they were glad to fix the problem with all kinds of new parts, new fuel pump, injectors and many other things. But they did not fix the problem, and I still have the problem. When mechanic gets it ,is running , really nothing wrong, but when it won't restart I am not near a mechanic, when it does start it will run well after waiting for it to cool down for 30 minutes
