Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Car was left at home for 4 days while on vacation. Upon return the vehicle would not turn over. It would crank, but would not start. Had vehicle towed to local shop who determined that the computer was at fault. He charged me the diagnostic fee of $90, printed out a page showing that there was a service bulletin on the matter and advised me to bring the vehicle back to Nissan. Brought vehicle back and Nissan wanted me to leave it with them so they could duplicate the problem. This was unacceptable since my daughter needs the vehicle for work. This problem only happened once, but reading what others have said it appears to be an uncorrected problem. Nissan should check into the way, it took 2 weeks to get a service appointment with Nissan.
