Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Prior to leaving for a trip I stoped by the dealership that I bought the truck from informed me that the exhaust was broken due to rust I was also told that there was no issue with driving it to nc from ct on the way back from nc the trailer lights failed and I started receiving slip ABS brake and 4WD lights on my dash. I return the truck to the dealership and was told that the exhaust had melted the wiring harness where it had broke/rusted. I spoke to another dealership and was told this was a common issue where the wiring harness would melt when the exhaust brakes/rusts... I was also told that they had seen some where the whole tail lamp had melted.
