Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Accident involved car spinning through intersection rear of car in direction of motion, rear of car impacted stationary Ford F-150 then rolled into ditch. During course of impact driver's seat back did not remain locked in an upright position, at conclusion of impact driver's seat was involuntarily allowed to go to the fully reclined position, 6 yr old rear seat passenger was partially impacted by seat back but due to cushion of seat no major injury was sustained.

The contact owns a 2010 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 30 mph over a pothole, the air bag warning light illuminated intermittently. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnosis. The mechanic informed that the front passenger's seat needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unavailable.
