This is very disappointing and has definitely changed my opinion regarding Nissan products. The vehicle would not want to change gears once it reached speeds of 40 and above. It was like it was stuck in neutral. We took it to a very well known and respected local transmission shop and were told that it had to have a new or rebuilt transmission. The current miles is 144425. Which with all my families previous Nissan/Datsun products that is half of what you expect to get from them. So $3000.00 later, we have chose to rebuild it. Again I am very very disappointed and after speaking to other people only then did I find out that this is an on going problem. I am in the car buying mode right now myself and I will definitely steer away from Nissan. So Honda or Toyota here I come.
