The driver's side power seat moved forward without the button being pushed to activate it. It would not stop when the button was pushed to reversed the motion. It stopped only when the seat reached its full forward position. Fortunately, I was parked and could jump out of the car. Had I been in motion, I could have been unable to control the vehicle as my knees would have been smashed into the dashboard and my abdomen would have been smashed into the steering wheel. I took the car to a GM garage where they told me they had never heard of this happening before and they didn't know what to do. They ended up disconnecting the power to the seat and said they would call the factory.
