My sisters has the very same car with less miles. She had the same problem with calipers two weeks after I did.
This condition could have caused the brakes to lock up creating a very serious situation.
Most of my driving is on the freeway so the brakes are not overused.
I feel this is a defect and other drivers of the 2000 Alero should beware!
