My car has not started on me twice now. I put the key in it would crank up and not start. Got it towed. They told me the first time this happened that it was the Ignition Lock and now it's the Lock Cylinder both part of the security system. Both times costing me $400+. I have searched around and and have found out this is a common issue with Oldsmobile's because you can not remove the security system because it is built into the car's computer system.
So there is no fix, this is just a problem that this car has.
