Bravada V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 96,000 miles

traveling in town the entire electrical system failed with out notice. No flashers, could not remove key, could not shift transmission and remained in gear . Could not unlock doors except manually. Don't under stand why if the motor was running, if the battery had died why the entire car would shut down. wrecker repaired by retightning battery cables which appeared tight to me. After car worked fine. Towing would had required flat bed truck. 2nd time it happened was when getting a new battery installed by Walmart. Do not know when it may happen again with no definite cause indicated by service at local gm dealer.

The car was running and waiting at stoplight when this occured, just idling, then nothing but traffic stacking up behind me honking horns. I did not have any flashers or sgnals of any kind.
