Bought the car about a year ago after it had sat for a year. Started it up, it spit and shuttered, but finally got going and I took it home. I just assumed it was from sitting but the problem has persisted since. It idles a little rough and will shutter upon acceleration pretty well every time. I learned to just not pull out in front of anyone!

Took it to a guy who is smart as a tack on mechanics. We looked the car over good, hooked it up to a diagnostics tool, and couldn't find anything. I put new plugs, wires and a fuel filter on it prior. We came to a conclusion it is shuttering from running lean as it doesn't smoke and my fuel mileage was OK. But it still begs the question what is wrong. I will update this complaint as new info comes about. Today is November 10, 2014

Started to put some money into it and find what was wrong. I started with a fuel pressure regulator and it didn't help a lick. Bought a fuel pump, and vua-la! The thing fired up and ran like a top! Iv been driving it since!
