You'll be listening to something you really want to hear on the radio and suddenly it takes off scanning stations for no apparent reason. It doesn't matter if you are turning a corner, braking, driving along, parked, whatever. There is no apparent reason for it suddenly doing this. We can't see any obvious connection to anything else we are doing at the time. Wondering if it is connected to the fact the controls on the steering column don't work.
