Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

G. the side window on our minivan shattered while the vehicle was parked in our driveway. The front windows were down, so there was not heat build-up in the vehicle. The police came and reported that it looked as if it had just shattered out from the inside. Since nobody was inside the van, it had to have happened on its own. Also, we asked our dealer about this, and he said that there have been Plymouth vans like ours around town that have had the windows just shatter on their own due to this solar glass that is being used. Our dealer also said that Plymouth hasn't recalled any of the vehicles, and I don't feel that is right. What if my daughters had been sitting inside when it could have been a tragedy. I hope Plymouth will take care of this before someone does get seriously injured. Also, being a family of limited income due to high medical expenses, this is not what we expected when we invested in a new vehicle.
