Mis-lead, deceived and possibly lied to in a used vehicle purchase involving a trade. The vehicle door locks do not work and I injured myself while trying to lock them. I consider the locks to be a safety issue as well as an insurance issue. I now just want to unwind the deal and desperately need help in doing this. I notified the dealer in less than 18 hours of purchase of the situation. I no longer trust them or the vehicle. I need to act quickly in order to get my trade back (which I trust). I have learned a lot but do not feel that I should continue to suffer if it is possible to unwind this. I was also mislead on the whereabouts of my trade in attempting to return their vehicle today - they said at first it had already been sold, then changed the story. That drive this morning was 1.5 hours from my house yet 1.5 from their location. I spent several hours in an unfamiliar city (in the rain) trying to resolve this before returning home. As they said they no longer had my vehicle I had no other choice. In order to switch vehicles I (or someone) will need to drive 3 hours one way. I work full time, attend college at night twice a week and am raising a daughter alone. Even hearing all this in my phone call to them 1/2 way there this morning, the person I talked to insisted that I was being unreasonable. I understand it is a "buyer beware" world, but after having been deceived do I have recourse? anyway, I could go on and on... please help!! thank you.
